Street food menu

“The devilled kidneys deserve a championing of drool-worthy praises…This was one of the best dishes I’ve had this year.”

We’ve served our traditional British street food all over London, from humble beginnings in Chatsworth Road to an enjoyable stint King’s Cross with KERB market, and more. We move about all the time, so keep an eye on our Twitter to see where to find us next.

Along with where we are, our menu too is changing all the time – right now our Gloucester Old Spot bacon is curing nicely, and next up is the ham (keep an eye on our Twitter for more.)

We’d be more than happy to work together to develop a menu with you for your private event, wedding or party. Find out more about our private catering services.

What the Dickens! classic street food menu

Kedgeree

Classic Victorian smoked haddock and rice dish flavoured with our house blend of 15 curry spices, served with a perfectly cooked Burford Brown egg. Buttery, peppery and our signature dish.

Devilled Pork Roll

Slow-roasted Old Gloucester Spot pork shoulder, marinaded and caramelised in our spicy devil sauce. We served it in a soft white roll with a generous helping of crispy crackling and homemade apple sauce. A modern twist on an 18th classic.

Devilled Kidneys

Lamb kidneys, seasoned and fried up, then served on toasted drizzled with our homemade mustard, cayenne and sherry sauce.  Traditionally eaten for breakfast, but fantastic all day long.

Braised Beef Burger with Welsh Rarebit (special)

Rare breed beef brisket, slow-cooked then coated in a sticky Guinness reduction, served with home-pickled beetroot and the finishing touch – a flame-grilled Welsh rarebit cheese sauce. Pick from a seeded bun, or with pearl barley. A definite crowd favourite!
